PSPK believes that there is NO sense of COMMUNITY without a SENSE of CARING. The goal of our Community Service Centres is to meet the needs of every needy individual in the society to become effective and influential in their own community and make them agents of transformation in their own community.
- Giving away monthly provisions to single mothers and needy families.
- Motivational Programs are organized to promote moral values and excellence in studies. A special talk held at some of local schools such as SMK Taman Selayang, SMK Selayang Baru, SMK Taman Desa, Rawang etc.
- Meeting with Community Leaders Rukun tetangga Kawasan Selayang Baru A, Jawatan Kuasa Kampung and Komuniti Bestari, to come up with community programs such as medical examination camps, gotong-royong, Mesra Rakyat etc.
Counselling to Families:
- We find people around us who are overwhelmed by a problem, hurting, frustrated, suffering from intrapersonal difficulties depression, situational stress, addictions and mood disorders etc. PSPK provides basic counselling facilities to meet the needs of those who are in challenging situations of their life. We provide trained counsellors to LISTEN to people in need. CAREFUL LISTENING is the key idea to establish RELATIONSHIPS in good Counselling. We listen to the challenges of the clients and walk along with them through a plan of action so that they would achieve a complete healing in their Soul, Spirit and Body.
Basic Volunteering Trainings:
- PSPK acts as a bridge to bring connections between beneficiaries and volunteers who are at compatible junctures in their life journey. PSPK connects and networks with companies or organizations who are seeking to do voluntary work and provide them special training in volunteer services and help them develop interpersonal skills in order to cater the needs so that they can effectively deliver programmes and services . We also aim to connect organizations which seek to be socially responsible corporate citizens with suitable projects and groups of beneficiaries.
- Giving away the Wheel chair of those in Need.
- Also we provide assistance with regards to SOCSO, EPF, BC, BC/IC citizenship associated with relevant government agencies.
